Featured workplace zones enable visitors to experience tomorrow's world of work available today

SYDNEY, 17 August 2017 - Ricoh, a workplace technology provider, will showcase a range of new industry-leading collaborative technology solutions at this month's Integrate Expo 2017 being staged at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from 29-31 August.

Visitors to the Ricoh booth will not only have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a series of zoned workplace environments demonstrating the latest collaborative technology but they will have also be able to view a showcase of innovations, including smart workplace technology which enables employees to work productively and collaboratively.

On display will be Ricoh's Intelligent Workplace Solution which leverages IBM Watson IoT and Ricoh's easy-to- use interactive whiteboards to change the way teams meet and collaborate through new intuitive features that can be accessed using natural voice. Real-time analytics help guide discussions so teams can make faster, better and more informed decisions.

The new third-generation 55" D5520, second generation 65" D6510, and brand new 75" D7500 interactive collaborative whiteboards come equipped with uniform shadow sensing multi-touchscreen display technology, advanced drawing capabilities, connectivity interfaces with Skype for Business and other video conferencing platforms, controller configurations and applications for a simplified user experience.

Built on a single unified design, they offer the same touch-sensing technology, display interfaces and camera accessories for consistent operability and are available with a matching mix of controller and software options. As a result, they allow large enterprises to implement identical video conferencing and remote collaboration solutions at any location using a right-sized Ricoh display as a communication hub.

In addition, Ricoh will also showcase its cloud-based Video as a Service (VaaS) based on the company's Unified Communication System (UCS) Advanced Service. This allows participants to meet and share information from any device, on any network, from any location. Not only does the service eliminate expensive infrastructure, utilities and dedicated software but users can collaborate with more people in more places by simply adding the service to their business environment to schedule, launch or join a video conference from any device.

Another product solution on display is the new Ricoh PJ WUL5670 laser light source projector. Easy to operate, equipped with instant start-up lamp-free and maintenance-free design plus exceptional image resolution, the projector features HDBaseT connectivity, which offers a one-cable- for-all solution that delivers video, audio control and LAN over a single cable. This not only enables more efficient connections but also keeps cable runs limited. In addition, because it is laser-powered, the projector operates far beyond traditional mercury lamp projectors.

Ricoh's booth at Integrate 2017 will also enable visitors to participate in special open activity workplace zones, including an integrated training room, a mid-sized meeting room for simplified collaboration and a casual meeting room huddle space for up to four participants.

Ragavan Satkunam, Ricoh Product and Marketing Manager Communication and Workspace Services, said, "Visitors to our booth at Integrate 2017 will be able to immerse themselves in the workplace of the future that is actually available today. Our new world workplace features activity based learning, virtual collaboration, and secure audio, video and content sharing, creating a positive user experience and one that enables employees to connect seamlessly to anyone, anytime and anywhere on any platform. We look forward to sharing these experiences with visitors at Integrate Expo 2017."

Ricoh's booth number at Integrate 2017 is G10.
