Ricoh Awarded “Prime” Status in ISS ESG Corporate Rating
Company recognised as a top 10% in the Electronic Devices & Appliances industry*
TOKYO, December 3, 2021 – Ricoh today announced that it has earned “Prime” status in the ESG Corporate Rating by ISS ESG, an investment solutions business unit of the world's leading proxy advisory firm, Institutional Shareholder Services Inc. (ISS) of the United States.

ISS ESG analyses more than 8,000 companies from environmental, social, and governance (ESG) perspectives. It awards companies with an ESG performance above the sector-specific prime threshold, which means they fulfill ambitious absolute performance requirements.
Ricoh has also achieved the top 10% status in the Electronic Devices & Appliances industry* due to its highly recognised initiatives in the Decarbonisation, Resource Conservation, Human Rights, and Health and Safety areas.
Ricoh has identified seven material issues to resolve social challenges through business and maintain a robust management infrastructure. The Group’s 17 ESG targets are linked to each material issue and embedded across all business operations. Ricoh is also committed to contributing to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals and becoming carbon neutral by 2050.
