Ricoh new model A3 Office Printer

Ricoh, a leading provider of smart workplace technology, today announced the launch and availability in Australia of a new range of A3 black and white multifunction printers (MFPs), built to deliver enterprise-grade reliability for a broad range of business print requirements.

Designed to unlock the full potential of print infrastructure, maintain uptime and operational continuity even as demands scale, the new series—comprising the IM 2510, IM 4510, and IM6010 — feature high-quality 1,200 dpi output, the latest security features, and proven sustainability initiatives to support efficient, cost-conscious operations.

Able to seamlessly handle the demands of daily document workflows, the new series ensures reliable black and white output with minimal interruption. Built on the same design, dimensions and functionality as Ricoh’s current IM C series, the new devices provide a familiar, intuitive user experience for existing customers and organisations operating mixed colour and black and white fleets.

Key features include:

Consistent performance you can rely on

Built on the proven engine and award-winning design of Ricoh’s current IM C series, the new range delivers the quality, reliability and performance customers expect. Existing customers benefit from a familiar design and intuitive user experience, while organisations with mixed fleets can provide a more consistent experience across colour and black and white devices, helping simplify training and everyday use.

Designed for secure, controlled operation

With security embedded at every level, organisations benefit from protection of sensitive information. Built-in security features include a tampering prevention device with digitally signed firmware (Trusted Platform Module 2.0), the latest Wi-Fi security standard (Wi-Fi Protected Access 3), and ECDSA 128-bit advanced encryption, providing stronger protection while supporting fast processing performance across documents, devices and networks.

Efficiency that supports cost control

With consumables offering up to 25% higher yield compared with predecessor models, flexible paper capacity and proven durable components carried across from Ricoh’s current IM C series, the devices are designed to reduce user intervention and maintain steady performance over time. This enables organisations to optimise productivity while keeping running costs predictable and under control.

Supporting sustainability goals

In line with Ricoh’s commitment to environmental responsibility, the new multi-function devices incorporate recycled materials, energy-efficient technologies and the same low-melt toner technology used across the current IM C series. In addition to being built with up to 50% recycled materials and reduced packaging waste, lower energy consumption and reduced packaging plastics help organisations minimise their environmental footprint while maintaining reliable day-to-day performance.

Key technical specifications include:

Across the IM 2510, IM 4510 and IM 6010:

Next-generation 10.1" Smart Operation Panel (G3) with capacitive touch
Improved scanning speed of up to 300 ipm with optional Single Pass Document Feeder (SPDF)
Enhanced security with TPM 2.0, WPA3 and ECDSA 128-bit advanced encryption
Standard Wireless LAN (Wi-Fi)
Connects to cloud services via RICOH Smart Integration

Model-specific features:

IM 2510: 25 ppm print speed
IM 4510: 45 ppm print speed
IM 6010: 60 ppm print speed, with SPDF standard
IM 4510/6010: option for 3,000-sheet finishers and 10-sheet staple less binding

Sul Koralege, Product Manager, Ricoh Australia, said, “Across today’s Australian enterprises, customers need to ensure uptime, maintain consistent output quality across all operations, meet environmental targets without compromising productivity and ensure that their data is safe and secure in line with any industry compliance requirements.

At the same time, businesses need to ensure that their IT infrastructure can grow with them delivering consistent performance, operational efficiency and long-term resilience.  This new Ricoh range of black and white A3 multi-function printers is designed to support evolving business priorities by delivering consistent performance, protection of sensitive information, and reduced operational costs while providing the ultimate powerful digital productivity hub to help growing businesses work more efficiently.
