Ricoh Graphic Communications Appoints Matthew Taylor as National Sales Manager

30 Jul 2026

Ricoh, a leading provider of smart workplace technology, today announced the appointment of Matthew Taylor as National Sales Manager for Ricoh Graphic Communications.  Based in Sydney, Taylor will be responsible for accelerating adoption of the Ricoh range of digital production printing solutions among Australian commercial and industrial printers and in-plant facilities in support of delivering customers with cost-effective and sustainable competitive advantage.

Matthew Taylor RGC National Manager

Taylor brings more than 20 years of experience across the Australian graphic communications, production print and customer communications industries. His background spans strategic account management, sales leadership and business transformation, supported by extensive relationships throughout the print sector and a strong understanding of production technologies, workflow software and managed services.

Most recently, Taylor was Chief Growth Officer at Chandler CX where he was responsible for the organisation’s national growth strategy and revenue performance.  He led teams across new business acquisition, customer retention and technical presales, while developing scalable commercial and analytics capabilities to support the organisation’s continued growth.

The appointment marks Taylor’s return to Ricoh Australia where he previously spent more than three years as a Key Account Director. In that role, he was responsible for acquiring, managing and growing major strategic and enterprise accounts, while also supporting the development of Ricoh’s high-speed inkjet business in Australia.

Earlier in his career, Taylor spent more than a decade with Fuji Xerox in regional sales leadership and strategic account management roles within its Graphic Communications division. He has also founded and led The Digital Centre, transforming the business from a traditional print manufacturer into an integrated digital marketing and technology services agency.

“Matthew brings a valuable combination of deep industry knowledge, trusted customer relationships and proven commercial leadership,” said Tina Economou, Chief Sales & Marketing Officer, Ricoh Australia. “Having previously worked with Matthew at Ricoh, we know the value of his customer-first approach and his ability to identify and develop new growth opportunities. His appointment strengthens our national Graphic Communications leadership as we deepen our partnerships with Australian print businesses and help them improve productivity, expand their capabilities and pursue sustainable growth.”

Ricoh provides a comprehensive portfolio of production printing technologies and services for commercial printers, in-house print operations and industrial production environments. Its capabilities span cut-sheet and continuous-feed production printing, high-speed inkjet, workflow and automation software, industrial printing, professional services and ongoing technical support.

Together, these solutions help customers improve efficiency, respond to changing market requirements and expand the range of applications and services they can offer.
“I am excited to be returning to Ricoh and joining the Graphic Communications team at an important time for the industry,” Taylor said.

“Print businesses are continually looking for ways to improve productivity, introduce new capabilities and deliver greater value to their customers. Ricoh has a strong portfolio, an experienced team and a genuine commitment to working alongside customers over the long term. I look forward to reconnecting with the industry and helping our customers pursue their next stage of growth.”
