An Overview
Serving the ACT community since 1923, BDN Lawyers provides legal services across conveyancing, personal injury and commercial law. For the past 18 years, the firm has partnered with Ricoh to support its evolving technology needs, including document management and workplace systems that help improve productivity, service delivery and long-term business operations for a practice that has assisted more than 107,000 clients.
The Challenges
To support day-to-day legal operations, BDN Lawyers relies on dependable printing and scanning technology to manage large volumes of documentation and support client deliverables. With print infrastructure playing a critical role in productivity and service levels, the firm required durable technology backed by responsive support. Evolving workplace demands, including the need to attend court hearings virtually and meet with clients remotely, also highlighted the importance of adaptable systems that could support more flexible ways of working.
The Solution
Over the course of their long-standing partnership with Ricoh, BDN Lawyers has introduced a tailored print and document management environment designed to support the firm’s evolving needs. This includes a reliable print infrastructure featuring Ricoh IM C6010 multifunction printers, alongside complementary IM C300F and P 801 devices to support different workflows across the business.
To help modernise administration tasks and improve efficiency, Kodak i4250 scanners were also introduced, enabling high-volume document processing and reducing the time staff spend managing large print and scanning tasks.
As the firm’s collaboration needs evolved, the partnership expanded to include integrated meeting room solutions that support clearer communication and more engaging meetings with clients, colleagues and the courts.
The printer performance is first class, and we very rarely experience any downtime.
The Benefits
By aligning technology with the way the firm operates, BDN Lawyers are now rewarded with more efficient operations including:
