In business, you need to be able to work efficiently and source information quickly. With ESA TransFormer, a paper document can be scanned and converted into various useable documents at the touch of a button - including Microsoft^® Word documents, Microsoft^® Excel spreadsheets or searchable PDFs. 

ESA TransFormer can be embedded into selected Ricoh multifunction devices (MFDs), so you can easily adjust settings such as image quality and the document’s destination directly from the control panel. The scanned documents are transformed in one easy step from the MFD’s panel, which eliminates the need for expensive desktop OCR (optical character recognition) packages that are usually licensed for each workstation.

Having this capability on the MFD allows everyone in your office to easily scan and convert documents in one easy step. The transformed document can be delivered directly to your desktop, a network folder or an email address. With a built-in address book on the MFD, your frequently-used locations are available at your fingertips.
