Close the Loop^®

Inline with our global vision of product stewardship, in 2000 Ricoh Australia began investigating viable recycling option within Australia. Finding there was none in place, Ricoh partnered with Close the Loop^® to develop our Toner Cartridge Takeback Program, which set the benchmark for the business imaging industry. 

Ricoh and Close the Loop^® have worked closely together since then to successfully develop and expand the program. Recognition of this alliance was formalised with their induction as a Green Partner in 2003.

The goal of Zero Waste to Landfill underpins the partnership and provides assurance to our customers of a 100% resource recovery rate for all consumables collected.

Ricoh and Close the Loop^® are working together to promote product stewardship, the continual improvement of resource recovery technologies and the reduction of reliance on virgin polymers.
