Ricoh adds to document flexibility with eCopy solutions

The latest version of eCopy ShareScan – Version 5 – has been released by Ricoh, providing added integration from the previous version to help businesses improve how they distribute, store and use their information.

Nuance’s eCopy ShareScan v5 integrates with Ricoh multifunction devices (MFDs) so they become an onramp into a customer’s existing business applications, offering a streamlined workflow, automated document distribution and enhanced information security.

“Where Ricoh is able to add extra value to its customers is through our Business Solutions Group, which is able to provide tailored solutions including eCopy and other software to deliver specific solutions to our customer’s document management system,” said Kathy Wilson, General Manager – Business Solutions and Production for Ricoh Australia.

“Along with its rapid customisation of scanning workflows, the strength of eCopy ShareScan v5 is its ability to connect to more than 100 business applications directly from the MFD, providing a direct pathway to streamlined, electronic workflows,” said Wilson.

Also being released by Ricoh is eCopy PDF Pro Office, a powerful, easy-to-use PDF solution that provides the ability to create, manipulate, convert and collaborate for dramatic productivity gains and cost savings.

With enhanced scanning capture capability through Ricoh’s MFDs combined with ShareScan and PDF Pro Office, organisations can seamlessly share information more quickly and easily.
