Westpac Banking on Success with Ricoh
Sydney, 6 November, 2012: With the Gartner Symposium/ITxpo soon to kick off on Queensland’s sunny Gold Coast, Ricoh has paired up with banking giant, Westpac to deliver a powerful session on how a long-term partnership can deliver remarkable financial and environmental results.
At the much-anticipated Solution Provider Session scheduled for day four of the symposium, Westpac’s General Manager for Service Delivery Infrastructure, Gary Sim will discuss how Westpac is creating a more productive and sustainable workplace – introducing smarter printers and becoming greener.
“Ricoh is helping Westpac achieve its carbon footprint targets by reducing power consumption and paper waste. Together these initiatives are delivering a simpler, smarter, greener place to work,” said Sim.
“Our partnership with Westpac is not only one of supplier and client, but one of trust, understanding and customisation,” said Stuart Hammond, National Sales Manager – Managed Document Services, Ricoh Australia. “The work we have done with them has been an amazing learning experience for the both of us. Through a long-term commitment we have succeeded in implementing an enterprise-wide MDS solution and dramatically changing user behaviour.”
Since commencing their service with Ricoh in December 2010, Westpac has gained significant internal productivity as well as environmental and financial wins. Attendees at the Gartner session will be given a rare insight into how all of this came to happen at Westpac.
Running from the 12-15 November, Gartner Symposium/ITxpo 2012 is the industry's largest annual gathering of CIOs and senior IT leaders. The event aims to deliver the insights, tools and relationships necessary to create, validate and execute transformative business technology strategies.
