Ricoh wins two 2016 BLI PRO Awards from Buyers

Ricoh’s Pro™ C7110X Series and Pro™ C9110 recognised for outstanding
light- to mid-volume colour production device and outstanding mid- to
high-volume colour production device

SYDNEY – 25 November 2015 - Ricoh has won two awards in the Buyers Laboratory LLC (BLI) annual PRO awards, which acknowledge the best-in-class devices in BLI’s production field tests. BLI is the leading independent authority in the document imaging industry. This year, it acknowledged Ricoh’s Pro™ C7110X Series and Pro™ C9110. The Pro C7110X Series won the award for outstanding light- to mid-volume colour production device, and Ricoh’s Pro C9110 was recognised with the outstanding mid- to high-volume colour production device award.

Having generated tens of millions of impressions on production devices from the leading vendors over several years, BLI’s production tests reveal the attributes that distinguish the most outstanding performers in a challenging evaluation covering productivity, image quality, media handling, ease of use, and more.

Ricoh’s Pro C7110X Series and Pro C9110 earned excellent marks overall, with the reports citing exceptional productivity and media handling.

Ricoh models offer benchmark media handling, outstanding productivity and colour consistency

The only models to earn BLI’s highest (five-star) rating for media handling since BLI began its production test program a number of years ago, Ricoh’s two PRO award winners have exceptionally high maximum input and output paper capacities, and duplex support for heavy media—up to 350 gsm for the Pro C7110X Series and 400 gsm for the Pro C9110. In addition, both offer a class-leading array of inline finishing options including a perfect binder, full-bleed square-edge booklet maker and inline ring bindery.

These models also stand out for their productivity and colour consistency, earning BLI’s five-star rating for these important categories as well. Both also feature excellent fine detail reproduction in colour output, especially in light contrast areas, and very good depth of field.
